An App for Business Rating and International Networking
The Book|B&S project is part of a broader vision that includes the development of a digital application. This app will allow users to filter suppliers and buyers based on a business rating, assigned according to quality, service, sustainability, and best business practices. It will enable users to find the right supplier or potential client with just one click.
This “digital report card” will allow the most virtuous companies to gain greater visibility and new business opportunities, facilitating commercial collaborations and international expansion. One of the biggest challenges in exporting is the lack of information in one’s language that enables direct contact with counterparts; we are simplifying this process.
An Initiative for the Future of Business:
UP2gether’s Commitment to Business Internationalization
UP2gether has extensive experience in business internationalization. For over twenty years, its founder, Barbara de Siena, has been dedicated to creating opportunities for Italian companies in foreign markets. Barbara began in the Italian graphic arts sector, promoting the internationalization of companies within this industry. In 2000, she established an office in Paris to promote Italian companies in the French and European markets. This initial move led to a series of initiatives in France, Switzerland, and Belgium.
Since 2010, UP2gether has expanded its operations into Africa, focusing on Francophone countries. With a broad network of contacts and collaborations, the project facilitates the development of partnerships, buying and selling actions, and joint ventures between European and African companies, offering new business opportunities in emerging and rapidly growing markets.
The goal is to create a support ecosystem that enables Italian companies to overcome the challenges of recent years and successfully expand their international presence.
Business Travel and Sustainability: A Winning Combination
An innovative aspect of the Book|B&S project is its focus on Business Travel, a growing sector with an increasing number of companies traveling internationally for business. The project aims to promote sustainable practices in this area as well, encouraging responsible behavior among participating companies. This approach aligns perfectly with the current needs of the European and international market, where sustainability is increasingly at the center of economic and commercial policies.
The international launch at Maroc25 | Strategic Gateway to Global Business between Europe and Africa
The international forum Maroc25 | Strategic Gateway to Global Business between Europe and Africa, taking place from February 17 to 19, 2025, in Casablanca, Morocco, will be the occasion to officially present the Book|B&S to the international audience.
This event will provide businesses with the opportunity to explore new markets and forge global collaborations, as well as to learn about the opportunities that Morocco and Africa offer across various sectors.
The choice of Morocco as the inaugural location reflects the vision of the Mattei Plan for Africa, which views the continent as a strategic area for Italy’s economic and commercial development. The event will feature the participation of numerous international delegations.

The event in Casablanca, scheduled for February 17 to 19, 2025, will represent a significant step in this direction, providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration for businesses and professionals committed to building a stronger and more global commercial future.
Giuseppe Romeo from Maraz Activity and Abdel Aziz Aarab from Rymasof, who are handling the local organization of Maroc25 | Strategic Gateway to Global Business between Europe and Africa, along with other partners involved in organizing the international forum, are actively working to develop collaborations and joint promotions.
For any expansion, it’s crucial to understand the customs and practices of the place where you intend to invest or simply sell. For example, visiting Italy on a Sunday in August may make it difficult to meet the necessary counterparts, and the same applies to foreign countries. Let’s start a journey of discovery together to find the right matching for the activities you want to undertake.
Strategic Collaborations and Sustainability
During the event in Monza at the Tempini 1921 showroom, organized by Fiera di Monza e Brianza, UP2gether established important collaborations, including one with Fred Cobral of Linguistica, a French legal expert in finance, international taxation, and sustainability. Cobral also specializes in VAT and company formation and is an expert in preparing sustainability reports, which will become a fundamental requirement for companies operating internationally in the coming years.
The partnership between UP2gether and Fred Cobral aims to support companies in their growth journeys and compliance with new regulations, with a particular focus on sustainability.
Giacomo Pomati
The event also featured Dr. Giacomo Pomati, President of Eurodefi, an association that provides support to European companies on issues of taxation, management consulting, and business strategy. In addition to this role, Pomati is also Director of Ilas Network, an international network based in Düsseldorf, Germany, that promotes the development of businesses in a global context.
VadoinAfrica: Creating Synergies Between Francophone and Eastern Africa
