The 13th National Sports Day of Qatar also took place in Milan
UP2gether supported ISA International Soccer Academy in organizing the Qatar Sports Day event in Milan, promoted by H.E. M. Abdullah Jassim Al-Zeyara, Consul General of Qatar in Milan, on February 13, 2024.

Mixed team tournaments were organized during the event, with students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Milan participating. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Fabio Esposito, and some teachers were present, along with diplomatic officials, guests, and friends of the Consulate.

Dr. Lara Magoni, Undersecretary for Sports and Youth of the Lombardy Region, also known for her past as a skiing champion, took part in the award ceremony. During her speech, she emphasized the importance of sports in everyone’s life, especially for young people, as a means of integration and social cohesion.
